The Earth System Science and Climate Change Group offers several BSc and MSc courses, and PhD Programmes. The ESS-CC contact person for education is Marcel R. Hoosbeek (marcel.hoosbeek(at)wur.nl).
The ESS CC PhD students typically participate and conduct their research in one of the four main thematic research clusters.
The MSc programme Earth System Science and Climate Change is intended for students who are interested in global change issues. Climate change and land use change are important topics during your study. Students are challenged to think about possible solutions for the ever increasing greenhouse gas emissions and ways to make the Netherlands climate proof. Graduates will find jobs as climate experts and modelers in research institutes, consultancy firms or government. International fieldwork is offered in the Master. Wageningen University is an international environment as many students from abroad are attracted to the stimulating scientific environment.
