Our research focusses on the value of landscape for people and society as a whole. Our work encompasses a large number of scientific disciplines (Ecology, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Public Administration, History and Planning). Working across disciplines, we study aspects of land use focussing on cultural heritage and planning, landscape perception and appreciation, leisure and tourism, health and the green environment, environmental policy analysis, decision support systems and valuation of ecosystem services.
