Vegetation and Landscape Ecology
The team has a broad scope in disciplines: it relates to system-ecology, plant sociology and eco-informatics and modelling. The application and development of the knowledge focuses on management problems of nature and landscape. This concerns nature reserves as well as agricultural used area.
Within our work we have close connections with the people of the teams of Forest Ecosystems, Molecular ecology, Ecotoxology and Wildlife Management of the centre for Ecosystem studies, the team of Ecologial Modelling and Monitoring of the centre for Landscape research and the teams Geo-research and Systems of the centre for Geo-infomation. Our research also combines efforts with the department of Nature Conservation and Plant-ecology of Wageningen University.
