PEER, environmental research for a sustainable society
Founded in 2001, the Partnership for European Environmental Research (PEER) is a strategic partnership of major European environmental research centres, that foster innovative multidisciplinary research and cross-cutting approaches in support to national and European policy-makers, industry and society.
Access to reliable environmental information and expertise is at the heart of PEER. It's members inform policy-makers and the public about research results and contribute to the debate on environmental issues.
