Richard Piechocki worked in the role as issue manager Rabobank Group between January 2006 and April 2011.
In this function he was responsible for the coordination of the dialogue with stakeholders about emerging and existing issues, like human and labour rights, depletion of natural resources, environmental impact of agricultural production and processing and society/ consumers. Because of his knowledge and experience of societal trends and issues he was also content manager of Rabobank’s Food & Agribusiness principles and project manager for the development of supply chain policies on Rabobank Group level for assessing clients and prospects on CSR-issues. As expert of CSR-issues in food & agribusiness he represented Rabobank in different initiatives such as round tables RSPO, RTRS and Bonsucro.
As from April 2011, Richard Piechocki has taken the new role of Programme Manager Partnership Rabobank – WWF, in which he is responsible for setting up projects with WWF and large corporates aimed at transforming Food & Agri supply chains into sustainable values chains. Stimulating renewable energy and clean technology is another main goal of this partnership.
